Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Oxford, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor authorization as directed, and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns accurately, and communicate with facility staff and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
