HVAC Estimator

We are an established mechanical contractor delivering high-quality HVAC and mechanical building services on commercial Design & Build projects. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced HVAC / Mechanical Estimator to strengthen our pre-construction team. You will be responsible for pricing and supporting the successful delivery of commercial mechanical packages, working closely with internal design, commercial, and project delivery teams from early-stage concepts through to contract award. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate estimates for HVAC and mechanical services on commercial Design & Build projects Review drawings, specifications, and employer’s requirements Develop cost plans from concept, schematic, and tender-stage designs Price mechanical systems including HVAC, heating, ventilation, chilled water, pipework, and associated plant Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations Identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining compliance and performance Prepare tender submissions, clarifications, and cost breakdowns Assess project risks, opportunities, and commercial viability Support smooth handover from pre-construction to delivery teams Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical or HVAC Estimator within a mechanical contracting environment Strong Design & Build experience on commercial projects Solid technical understanding of HVAC and mechanical building services Ability to price from limited or evolving design information Good knowledge of building regulations and industry standards Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel Confident communicator with clients, consultants, and supply chain APPLY today for immediate consideration! #J-18808-Ljbffr
