This includes evolving the visual foundations of our digitalexperiences while exploring new tools and approaches that help teams move rapidly fromideas to prototypes.About the EngagementWe’re looking for a highly skilled Product Designer specializing in Visual Design andMotion Design to contribute to the evolution of our digital visual identity and the tools andsystems that bring it to life.This is a hands-on craft role for a designer with exceptional visual instincts who cantranslate creative direction into thoughtful, polished, and reusable design assets. You’llcontribute visual and motion concepts that can be incorporated into design systems,standards, toolkits, and other resources used by designers across the organization.You’ll help turn the strongest explorations into cohesive visual languages, standards, andreusable resources that designers can apply across digital products.Alongside this work, you’ll contribute to select product design initiatives where additionaldesign capacity or visual expertise is needed. You should be comfortable working acrossthe product design process—from early concepts and flows through prototyping and high-fidelity execution—while balancing user needs, business goals, system patterns, andtechnical constraints.You’ll also explore how emerging technologies can enable new ways of designing,contributing to prototypes and toolkits that help designers move rapidly from ideas totangible experience concepts.The ideal candidate combines outstanding visual craft with strong product-designfundamentals. You’re comfortable exploring new creative territory, but equally skilled atturning that exploration into practical, scalable assets that other designers can use.What You’ll Do• Explore new visual territories through hands-on design, experimenting withcomposition, typography, iconography, graphic elements, motion, interaction, andother forms of digital expression.• Create original visual and motion assets from the ground up, includingiconography, UI animations, transitions, and other expressive product elements,with the craft and consistency needed to scale them into larger systems.• Translate creative direction and design principles into polished, reusable artifactsthat can become part of design standards, systems, libraries, and toolkits.• Develop high-fidelity prototypes that demonstrate how new visual and motion ideasbehave in real product experiences—not just as standalone assets.• Contribute to end-to-end product design initiatives as needed, working fromearly concepts and UX flows through prototyping and polished UI while applying aparticularly strong visual point of view.• Work within established design systems and UX patterns while identifyingopportunities to improve their visual quality, consistency, and expression.• Explore emerging tools and technologies, including AI-enabled workflows, that canhelp designers ideate, prototype, and communicate ideas more quickly.• Collaborate closely with Design, Product, Engineering, Brand, and other partners tounderstand requirements and constraints, present design rationale, andincorporate feedback without losing the quality of the work.What You’ll Bring• 7-10+ years of relevant product design experience, with a portfolio demonstratingexceptional visual craft alongside strong product design fundamentals.• Strong motion and interaction craft, including UI animation, transitions,microinteractions, and expressive product moments.• Ability to create original visual assets, including iconography, illustrations andbranded interface elements, not only compose experiences from existing design-system components.• Strong motion and interaction design capabilities, with the ability to use motionintentionally to improve digital experiences and communicate interaction behavior.• Expert knowledge of Figma and experience creating high-fidelity product designsand prototypes.• Experience working with design systems, component libraries, patterns, or otherreusable design frameworks.• A deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies and the ability tobalance visual expression with usability, accessibility, product requirements, andtechnical constraints.• Ability to communicate design rationale and present creative work effectively todesign and cross-functional partners.• Curiosity about emerging design technologies and new approaches to rapidideation and prototyping.PreferredExperience creating reusable visual or motion assets intended for use by other designers isespecially valuable.Experience experimenting with emerging technologies, AI-enabled creative tools, or newprototyping approaches is also valuable, particularly where those technologies helpdesigners move more quickly from exploration to tangible experience concepts.Expected Outcomes / DeliverablesDuring the engagement, this designer will contribute high-quality visual and motion designwork that can be incorporated into the tools, standards, systems, and resources used byEDR designers.Expected outputs may include visual identity assets, motion and interaction explorations,high-fidelity prototypes, reusable design assets and patterns, and rapid-ideation orprototyping toolkits that help design teams explore and communicate new experienceconcepts.SkillsVisual design, Product design, Motion design, Animation, Ux design, figma, prototype, design system, AI, reusable design assets, AI prototyping, reusable motion assetsTop Skills DetailsVisual design,Product design,Motion design,Animation,Ux design,figma,prototype,design system,AIExperience LevelExpert LevelJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $63.00/hr.
