Facilities TechnicianNesco Resource is looking for a Facilities Technician located in New Milford, CT. This opportunity can be temp-to-hire OR direct hire depending on candidate preference and skillsets. Candidate will be able to start position as early as June 29th. Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-2:30PM Pay: $21-$30/hour depending on experience Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Facilities Technician to support the daily operations and upkeep of a manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with their hands, maintaining equipment, and supporting a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout production, storage, and common areasPerform general facility maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and machine setupsTroubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issuesPerform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating, and cooling repairsRemove waste materials and coordinate dumpster/recycling servicesOrder and maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and suppliesMaintain maintenance records and documentationSupport manufacturing operations with equipment changeovers, material handling, staging, and production-related tasksUse hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair workFollow all safety procedures and report maintenance or safety concernsSupport continuous improvement and assist with additional facility or production needs as assignedQualifications2+ years of facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial shop experience preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsIndustrial electrical experience preferredComfortable using hand and power toolsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills and positive attitudeForklift, crane, or aerial lift experience is a plusAbility to lift up to 75 lbs and stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shiftWillingness to work overtime as neededAbility to safely use PPE and other required safety equipmentNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
