Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) - Barnes - Rad Interventional

Position Details Full-Time Interventional Radiologic Technologist – Advanced Modality at Barnes‑Jewish Hospital, Interventional Radiology Mallinckrodt Dept. 36 hours per week (10‑hour day shifts, 7:30am‑6pm, Mon‑Fri) $5,000 Sign on Bonus Eligible No Experience Needed – we will train! (New grads, upcoming grads, experienced radiologic technologists welcomed) Extra Pay & Incentives: Premium pay for working weekends and call shifts Call Rotation Required for Week Overnight and Weekends: Week Overnight: 1 shift within one or two weeks – Monday to Thursday (6pm‑7:30am) Weekend: every 10th or 11th weekend – Friday (6pm) to Saturday (8am) & Saturday (4pm) to Monday (7:30am); Saturdays (0800‑1600) 3–4 times per year PDP Program Radiology Leadership Development Program Work/Life Balance Siemens Fluoro units, GE Ultrasound, Epic Responsibilities Work independently with a multidisciplinary team performing fluoroscopic imaging procedures Prepare patients and equipment for procedures while assisting the radiologist Perform image post‑processing and circulating procedures Requirements Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R) Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Intravenous Therapy certification (preferred) Experience No IR Tech experience necessary – willing to train X‑ray techs willing to cross‑train in Interventional Radiology Experience in one of: Upcoming Graduation Radiology students, MR, CT, RT, X‑ray, Radiology, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, ASRT, Radiologic, Rad Tech, Student Radiology, Patient Radiology, General Radiology, Entry Level, Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, MR Graduate, ARMRIT, MR, Vascular Interventional Radiographer, Advanced Modality Technologist Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, legal services available first day of month after hire date.
