Overview

UNC Rex invites you to join our dynamic, expanding group serving the Triangle community. The role offers support from established physicians and midwives, clinical resources, and a supportive schedule for work/life balance. This is a casual opportunity.

Practice Details

• Established group of 7 OB/GYNs, 7 CNMs, and 1 WHNP
• Shifts consist of two providers: one MD/DO and one CNM to support service
• Da Vinci robotics available at UNC Rex (Raleigh) Hospital
• NICU: 21‑Bed Level 4 by NC standards, Level 3 by AAP; 27 weeks and up
• 24/7 Neonatology – Neonatologists onsite during the day and on call at night; NNP in house 24/7
• EPIC (EHR) with AI Scribe capabilities for documentation
• Collaborative and collegial team welcoming experienced and new providers

Education Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Board Certified OB‑GYN
• DEA License
• ACLS, BLS, and other required certifications

Professional Experience Requirements

• Prefer prior hospitalist experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requirements

• Proficient in English communication.

Physical Demands

Employ the essential functions requires sitting, using hands, speaking and hearing regularly; occasionally standing, walking, kneeling, bending and reaching. Must lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

Works in a medical office setting with moderate noise levels.
