Neurology Physician

We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Neurologist to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is primarily an outpatient opportunity with flexible scheduling options and possible phone call responsibilities. J1 Waiver, CONRAD 30, and H1B visa sponsorship available. Fellows and practicing physicians are welcome to apply. Position Highlights Outpatient-focused practice Possible phone call coverage Part-time or full-time schedules available Work as little as one day per week Hybrid schedule options available Clinical assistant provided Geriatric and adult patient population EMR: eClinicalWorks If working fewer than 20 hours per week, provider must carry their own malpractice insurance. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological disorders Perform comprehensive neurological examinations Order and interpret diagnostic studies including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and laboratory testing Diagnose conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, headaches, and cognitive disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe and manage medications and therapies Coordinate supportive care services and specialty referrals Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and home care instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain) Current DEA registration Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Bilingual Spanish is a plus Organization Information Competitive full-time salary range: $300,000-$450,000 annually Comprehensive benefits package Loan repayment available Access to multiple physician specialties within the group Large multispecialty group with offices throughout the five boroughs Over 140 physicians and 100 advanced practice providers currently employed Culture focused on improving access to healthcare Lifestyle Information Multiple opportunities available throughout the Bronx Access to all that New York City has to offer Abundant public transportation options RecruitWell Core Values Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win Higher consciousness
