Job Description: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Technician with at least 7 years of experience in the field.Job SummaryThis position performs service, repair, and maintenance on HVAC systems in a residential and light commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and supervise a team of technicians.Job DutiesServices, maintains, and repairs residential and light commercial HVAC systemsDetermines general condition of HVAC systems, and can troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions and determine extent of necessary repairsAlways maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each jobConveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while drivingWears floor savers while in the client's homeMaintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outsideInstall, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ventilation systems.Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with HVAC systems.Order parts and supplies as needed.Ensure that all work is performed to company and industry standards.Maintain accurate records of all work performed.Train and mentor other HVAC technicians.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust have prior, successful experience as a Technician in the HVAC industryNATE certification preferredMust display strong communication skills and technical competenceAbility to pass a thorough background check and drug screenClean driving recordAt least 7 years of experience as an HVAC technician.Strong leadership and supervisory skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Must be certified in HVAC.Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting and climbing.Compensation:Competitive pay based on experience.Monthly stipend will be added to pay for those who meet certain qualifications.
