CNC Machine Operator - 1st Shift, Monday Through FridayHourly Pay Range: $22 - 26 USDAddress: FRC 26 Southern Blvd, Nesconset, NY 11767Reports To: Machine Shop Production ManagerResponsibilities and Duties:Ability to read and understand blueprintsAbility to understand G and M code programs and make minor changes as appropriateAbility to understand wear offsets and change offsets accordinglyAbility to change tools in the machine and input tool height measurementsAbility to do their own prep set upsAbility to hold +/- 0.010 toleranceAbility to change fixtures and indicate fixture zeroAbility to practice safe work habitsRoutine maintenance and cleaning of the machineQuality inspection of parts produced using micrometers, calipers, gauges and other measuring equipmentMust be able to pass a basic Math Test (Fractions and reading a tape measure)Multi task / Operate Multiple machinesFollow all company work rules, company policies and proceduresMaintain a clean and safe work area - this includes cleaning / maintaining equipment and work areas, and performing safety inspections of areasRequirements:High School DiplomaPrior Machine Operation preferredCNC experience a plus
