Job DescriptionJob Description POSITION: Dental Assistant SCHEDULE: PT shift (20 hours per week) FACILITY: Guadalupe Correctional Facility LOCATION: Santa Rosa, NM Are you ready to support dental care where your skills help improve health and confidence every day? As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting patient care and ensuring smooth, efficient dental operations. Position Summary Working under the supervision of the Dentist, you'll assist in providing dental care while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized clinical environment. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting the dentist chair-side during exams and proceduresPreparing patients for treatment and supporting dental hygiene educationSterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standardsSetting up and breaking down treatment areas and equipmentTaking and processing intra-oral x-rays as permittedMaintaining accurate patient records within the medical record systemManaging dental supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenanceSupporting dental sick call and emergency screeningsEnsuring the dental clinic remains clean, stocked, and ready for daily operations You'll go beyond assisting.
