We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a service-focused team in East Syracuse, New York. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing multiple requests throughout the day, and building strong working relationships across internal teams and external partners. In this role, you will support order activity, respond to product and availability questions, and help ensure customers receive timely, accurate updates. The position offers hands-on training and ongoing development within a collaborative environment that values accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming customer interactions by phone, in person, and through online order channels, providing pricing, product availability, and order support.
• Serve as a key point of coordination between customers, manufacturing partners, and local sales teams to keep requests moving efficiently.
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and communicate updates using customer relationship and order management tools.
• Develop working knowledge of product lines and related resources so you can address customer questions with accuracy and confidence.
• Monitor stock status across factory and local office locations to help meet delivery expectations and recommend practical solutions when items are limited.
• Maintain prompt follow-up with customers, ensuring responses or status updates are provided within established service timelines.
• Support value-added offerings such as delivery options, assembly-related services, and required product documentation or certificates.
• Use internal systems and service platforms to track requests, document customer information, and contribute to quality and process improvement efforts.
• Participate in cross-training and team support activities to provide coverage where needed and strengthen overall service performance.• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, call center support, order entry, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, sales staff, and internal partners.
• Ability to manage changing priorities, stay organized, and maintain accuracy while handling multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
• High attention to detail and a dependable approach to follow-up, documentation, and service quality.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and hold a valid driver’s license.
