Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time Night Opportunity in Excelsior Springs, MO 12hrs Shift. Rotating Weekends At Aspire Senior Living Excelsior Springs, we are committed to delivering the highest quality personal care services in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a Licensed Practical Nurse on our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents and their families. Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities. As a member of our skilled nursing team, Licensed Practical Nurse will work closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care. Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, drawing blood, and performing wound care
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the interdisciplinary care team
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Missouri
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in nursing preferred
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents, as well as stand for long periods of time
