Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time Night Opportunity in Excelsior Springs, MO

12hrs Shift. Rotating Weekends

Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities. As a member of our skilled nursing team, Licensed Practical Nurse will work closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, drawing blood, and performing wound care
• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the interdisciplinary care team
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Missouri
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in nursing preferred
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents, as well as stand for long periods of time
