Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care / ICU (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Critical Care unit with a 1:2 patient ratio on night shift
• Perform ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring for critically ill patients
• Float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed based on staffing and patient census
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care (ICU) nursing experience required
• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Willingness to float to PCU as needed is a firm requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system strongly preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
