Maintenance Mechanic I

Baxter seeks a Maintenance Mechanic I in Cleveland, Mississippi to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. The role involves troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems while supporting production operations and contributing to lean maintenance initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment systems
- Troubleshoot equipment with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum components
- Rebuild and modify production machines to support improvements and reduce parts costs
- Analyze machine failures to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Support installation of manufacturing equipment and technician training
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years mechanical systems repair or industrial maintenance experience
- Associate's degree in technical field preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical test instruments
- Physical capability to bend, climb, reach, and balance regularly
- Standard visual acuity including color differentiation
Compensation: $46,400.00 - $58,000.00
