Truck Driver - RAFT

Truck Driver

The Truck driver is responsible for transporting equipment and material throughout and between job sites.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Obeying traffic laws, and following established traffic and transportation procedures
• Operating company vehicle in a safe manner and compliant to all State and Federal DOT standards and regulations
• Inspecting and maintaining vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition
• Reporting vehicle accident/incident immediately to management
• Maintaining a truck log according to State and Federal regulations
• Transporting materials to and from specified job sites
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Daily inspection of truck
• Communicating equipment and material issues
• Other duties as assigned

Required education, qualifications, and experience include:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Previous experience with transporting equipment and materials
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Previous experience in the energy services industry preferred
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements
• Must pass a drug screening and background check
• Must be flexible to meet scheduling requirements
• Must be able to travel and cross state lines
• Must have the ability to effectively operate a variety of vehicles safely and work reliably both independently and in a team setting

Basic knowledge of MS Office preferred
