Job Roles And Responsibilities

Review commercial construction drawings, plans, and specifications.

Prepare accurate project proposals and cost estimates.

Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze project requirements.

Evaluate project scope and identify exclusions and pricing considerations.

Communicate project scope, pricing, and proposal details with customers.

Collaborate with project managers and internal teams during the estimating process.

Maintain accurate estimating records and project documentation.

Track and manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines.

Support project planning and preconstruction activities.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Certifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.

Minimum 2 years of commercial construction estimating experience.

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Ability to pass background screening and drug testing requirements.

Electrical estimating experience preferred.

Experience with quantity takeoffs preferred.

Experience with Bluebeam preferred.

Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
