Friends of Brooklyn Park
Responsibilities Work with fellow board member to get relevant information for org, program updates and events. Work with the chair and fundraising to develop marketing materials for donors (community and business). Work with Community Outreach Coordinator to develop materials/copy to increase outreach knowledge of org and Summer Youth Program (SYP) beyond neighborhood. Post weekly on website and link to social media, updates (marketing events, updates on SYP, organization happenings, behind the scenes or silly, and fundraising goal update). Submit events to “The Bee” calendar and keep neighborhood reporter updated on FOBP happenings. Write bi-monthly updates for the Brooklyn Newsletter. Write email updates as needed for neighborhood BAC list. Collaborate with Events board member to write marketing copy for events, posters, flyers, and social media posts. Post pictures and captions during events and SYP potlucks. Develop procedures and operations (best practices for the Communication/Community Outreach board position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
