Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Mindscapes Mental Solutions, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for clients exhibiting major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.

• Collaborating effectively within an interdisciplinary team to achieve common therapeutic goals, ensuring that all team members are aligned and engaged.

• Maintaining a cultural competency in working with clients from diverse backgrounds, understanding their unique traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles.

• Implementing evidence-based practices in client screenings, along with coordinating more comprehensive assessments as warranted.

• Creating integrated care plans and facilitating access to necessary services, while actively exchanging vital information among clients, their families, and related service providers.

• Maintaining a manageable caseload, providing ongoing assessment, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention as required.

• Documenting client progress in a timely and thorough manner, as well as completing necessary reports to comply with organizational standards.

• Providing on-call support as needed and participating in committees to enhance service delivery and improve overall quality at the agency.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.

• Possession of an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Virginia is required.

• Demonstration of excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential for patient interaction and documentation.
