Fleet Diesel Mechanic – Join the Truck 63 Team Truck 63 is seeking a skilled and motivated Fleet Diesel Mechanic to help maintain and repair our heavy‑duty fleet vehicles. In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring our fleet operates at peak reliability and safety. We’re looking for someone who is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment Ensure all work meets safety and operational standards Support overall fleet reliability and uptime Qualifications Proven experience as a fleet diesel mechanic preferred Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Working knowledge of vehicle electronics Ability to multitask (repairs, maintenance, shop organization, etc.) Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Strong attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to follow direction High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or apprenticeship a plus) Valid NYS Driver’s License required CDL is a plus NY State Inspection License and other certifications are a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and skill level Opportunity for training and growth — willing to train the right candidate Supportive team environment Compensation/Hours Shifts available Monday through Friday 4:00AM-12:30PM & 9:30AM-6:00PM.
