Overview CT Technologist – Radiology (CT Tech) | Hot Springs, South Dakota, US Start date: 06/29/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility Weekly pay: $2,213 – $2,366 | Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Shift: 4x10 rotating (M-F with weekend and call rotation) | Position type: Travel – Temporary Assignment Employer: Healthforce Healthcare LLC Responsibilities Perform emergent and routine diagnostic radiographic procedures, including fixed and portable X-ray, in accordance with radiologist protocols. Conduct CT scans in the CT room, ensuring proper image quality and adherence to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure. Adjust exposure settings and patient positioning to obtain optimal images; collaborate with radiologists to achieve diagnostic objectives. Process and interpret images in PACS for the radiologist review; document and charge exams and manage electronic medical records. Schedule patients for X-ray, CT, MRI, US, DXA, and Holter Monitor as needed; assist with contrast media administration for CT exams. Participate in quality control activities related to equipment, radiation safety, and patient safety; provide customer service to patients and staff. Requirements Active credential: RT(R) ARRT (Radiologic Technologist, Radiography) is required. Experience: Preferred 1 year of CT technologist experience. Licensure/Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (as standard for this role). Skills: Proficient in radiographic procedures, radiation physics principles, and human anatomy/physiology; able to adjust equipment to protect patients (ALARA) and work in a fast-paced setting. Setting: Able to work in a skilled nursing facility environment with rotating weekends and call coverage.
