Job Summary: The Cath Lab Special Procedures Tech assists in performing sterile diagnostic and interventional care for patients ranging from young adults to the elderly. Responsibilities include supporting cardiac, electrophysiology, structural heart, and interventional radiology procedures. The role requires proficiency in specialized techniques, equipment troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate documentation of procedural details and clinical responses.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Associates degree in Radiology Technology.
• ARRT Certification.
• KY State Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Nuclear Medicine Certification.
• ODC Certification.

Additional Information:

• EKG training required with annual competency review.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
• PALS certification required within 24 months of hire/transfer.
