Location: Transfer Station on Tinkham Hill Road Hours: Part-Time (5-15 hours per week, as needed) Starting Wage: $16.54/hr ($17.52/hr with Hoisting License) Position Overview The Town of Mattapoisett is seeking a dependable, customer-focused individual to serve as a Part-Time Transfer Station Attendant. Key Responsibilities Direct customers to proper disposal locations within the facility. Assist customers with unloading vehicles when needed. Monitor dumping and recycling areas to ensure compliance and safety. Assess materials presented for disposal and handle monetary transactions. Requirements Ability to physically assist patrons and work outdoors as required. Must be able to obtain a 2A Hoisting License within 6 months of hire (a wage increase to $17.52/hr will take effect upon obtaining the license). #J-18808-Ljbffr Mattapoisett Fire
