Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit serving a large cardiac population across telemetry and PCU settings
• Maintain a 1:5 patient ratio, delivering safe and compassionate care during day shift hours
• Perform and assist with varied procedures across acute and chronic medical conditions
• Float to inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as needed
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care PCU experience (2 years preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Chemotherapy certification (ability to be scheduled on Oncology unit)
