Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty nurse position is located in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves providing professional nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery department. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, compassionate, and effective care for a diverse patient population, demonstrating age-specific competencies. The position requires managing a team and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary support services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California (CA) Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a labor and delivery or maternal health setting.
• Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adults.
• Unit Details: Collaboration with respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support.
• Experience: Minimum of 0 years required; at least 2 years of related nursing experience preferred.
• Start Date: 09/08/2026.
