Precision Assembler IIThe Precision Assembler II is responsible for assembling and testing high-precision products of varying complexity under minimal supervision. This person will also be responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed.Essential FunctionsAssemble a variety of subassemblies, standard and special products using established procedures.Accurate fitting, aligning, and adjusting required to very close tolerances or precision fits subject to strict inspection.Set up, and test complete products to ensure that units meet specification and customer order requirementsOther responsibilities as required.Required CompetenciesThe ability to multitask in an accurate, timely, and organized fashionThe ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructionsThe ability to explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.The ability to work with colleagues in a professional and cooperative mannerMust be a quality-minded that takes the initiative to improve product and process performanceUnderstanding of the importance of customer serviceGood communication skills, both written and oral in EnglishBasic computer skillsStrong attention to detailsSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct reports.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a dedicated laboratory in a professional manufacturing environment.
