Class A CDL Equipment Operator

Job Overview Clean Harbors in Detroit, MI is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at our customer sites. Operations may include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. The role is responsible for both driving and non‑driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean‑up. Responsibilities Operate heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites. Perform driving and non‑driving duties associated with hazardous waste clean‑up. Maintain a Monday through Friday schedule, with an average start time around 6am. Complete 8‑10+ hour days with overtime after 40 hours. Be available for emergency response or project work that may require up to two weeks away from town, with hotel and per diem provided. Attend a two‑week Academy training out of state, which is paid and covered by the company. Qualifications Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred (no automatic restriction). Availability for emergency response and project work away from town. Ability to work long hours and adapt to schedule changes. Benefits Pay range $25‑30 per hour.
