Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Operating Room - Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (06:30 - 15:00) Experience: 2 years preferred License: State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBSTSA Must-Have: - Previous travel experience preferred - Required trauma level I experience Description: Shift is from 06:30 to 15:00, Monday to Friday with call. Experience in a level 1 trauma center is required. The unit specializes in heavy orthopedic, general, and urology cases. Additional procedures include vascular, robotic, and neuro cases. No cardiac or transplant surgeries are performed. Candidates should be proficient in a range of surgical procedures. Skills should include expertise in abdominal surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, and various robotic procedures. Candidates must have a background in aseptic technique and sterilization/disinfection. Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team is essential. Previous charge experience is preferred. Travel experience is required. Candidates must provide proof of required certifications. Compliance with all onboarding protocols is mandatory. Pre-approved time off must be listed at the time of submittal.
