Finisher's Helper

We are seeking a skilled Finisher's Helper to join our finish shop team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing live edge slabs and mantels to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

• Assist finishers in finishing live edge slabs and mantels.
• Sand, stain, and finish live edge slabs and mantels to a high standard.
• Help match colors and finishes to customer specifications.
• Prepare live edge slabs and mantels for finishing by cleaning, sanding, and stripping old finishes.
• Assist in repairing and touching up live edge slabs and mantels as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in finishing live edge slabs and mantels is preferred.
• Knowledge of different types of woods and finishes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for color matching.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and standing for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
