Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Mid/Evening Shift | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Emergency Room setting
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
• Apply professional and supervisory discretion in dynamic, fast-paced emergency care situations
• Accurately document patient care activities utilizing electronic health record systems including EPIC and Cerner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months and recent Cerner experience required; each work history entry must list the charting system used
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
