Job Summary Seeking Charge Nurse - Weekend Only! Full-Time, Days (7A-7P), WOW Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care Sellersburg. Responsibilities Act as a resource nurse for the department. Coordinate care on designated shifts. Provide leadership to the staff members of the unit in patient care. Work alongside the team and provide direct patient care while determining needed staffing fluctuations during shifts, responding to departmental concerns, addressing immediate staff issues and coordinating patient flow. Have immediate oversight of employees while performing the same or directly related work as those the position leads. Qualifications Graduate of approved nursing program. Current Indiana or Compact State RN license. BLS for Healthcare Provider required. PALS required within 12 months of hire. ACLS required within 12 months of hire. NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire. One year of nursing experience required.
