ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION: Under the direction of the facilities and transportation director, and in association with the lead bus driver, drives a school bus over designated routes for the purpose of transporting students to and from school and/or school related activities; maintains student discipline on the bus; submits daily reports as required; cleans and washes buses; monitors fluids and lubricants on buses; and makes minor repairs. Performs district maintenance and operation duties as designated by supervisor. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education:
- Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
- First aid and CPR certification required
- Possession of the required California Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
- Possession of a School Bus Driver's Certificate issued by California Highway Patrol including passing a first aid examination.
OTHER COMMENTS: The following documents must be attached to the application:
- Bus driver's certificate and DMV H-6 driving record report.
- Substitutes will be required to successfully complete and pass a post offer Drug and Alcohol testing.
- TB clearance
- Fingerprinting (Fingerprints must be paid for by the applicant. The fee is $49.00, payable in cash only and exact change is required)
- Copy of Driver's License
- Copy of Social Security Card
