Maintenance TechnicianQuakertown House - Quakertown, PA 18951Salary Range $18.00 Level Entry Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Travel Percentage None Category Health CareJoin the Amazing Team at New Vitae Wellness and RecoveryGreat Pay Rate, Benefits, Schedule, and Company Culture!New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician.Conducts repairs on company property in an efficient and workmanlike manner to include carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanicalAssists supervisors in identifying current and future maintenance needsWatches out for safety and fire hazards and reports them promptly or takes direct action to eliminate themAssists other maintenance personnel in maintaining efficient operation of the building, including cleanup, inventory control and tool controlPlays a major role in the general upkeep of the company property: road maintenance, lawn and field mowing, erosion control and snow removalConducts upkeep for the inside of the building to ensure it remains up to codeMust be flexible and willing to do new things having to do with minor constructionPerforms maintenance on resident's rooms when neededSupports the maintenance system by completing all paperwork, logs, checklist, and formsOther duties as assigned by ManagementSkills:Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanicalAbility to interact with employees, public, clients and their families in highly professional mannerGood judgment and problem solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionHighly organizedExcellent time management, punctuality and reliability requiredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsEmotional stability and personal adjustment to act as a role-model for residentsAble to lift up to a minimum of 50 poundsEducation Requirement:H.S.
