Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant, based in Newport Beach, CA. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for conducting patient evaluations, assisting in ocular surgery and treatment procedures, managing pre- and post-operative care, and educating patients about their conditions and treatment plans. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals is key to delivering comprehensive and high-quality eye care services. Qualifications Strong clinical skills in performing patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning Experience in ophthalmology procedures, surgeries, and post-operative care Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaboration with medical staff Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment Valid state licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care Prior experience in an eye care or healthcare setting is preferred
