Patient Coordinator OpportunityAnthem Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Patient Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping children and families feel comfortable and supported throughout their dental experience.As a Patient Coordinator, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for patients and families while supporting the daily operations of the practice. You will serve as a welcoming first point of contact, coordinate appointments, assist with patient communication and financial processes, and work closely with the clinical team to keep the practice running efficiently.Your responsibilities will include:Greet patients and families in a friendly, professional, and welcoming mannerManage patient scheduling, including appointments, cancellations, and reschedulingConfirm appointments and provide reminders to help maintain an efficient scheduleAnswer incoming calls and respond to patient and parent questions professionallyRegister new patients and maintain accurate demographic and patient informationAssist with patient check-in and check-out while supporting efficient patient flowVerify insurance information and assist patients and families with general insurance questionsCommunicate treatment and appointment information clearly and accuratelyCoordinate with the clinical team regarding patient needs, scheduling, and potential delaysMaintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA requirementsAssist with collecting patient payments and communicating financial information as neededHelp create a calm, comfortable, and welcoming environment for children and familiesMaintain a clean, organized, and professional front office and reception areaSupport the team with additional administrative and front office responsibilities as neededPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedPreferred Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredPrevious experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office preferredPediatric dental experience is a plusExperience with dental practice management and scheduling software preferredKnowledge of dental insurance and patient financial processes preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working with children, parents, and caregiversProfessional, dependable, and team-oriented approachWhat Makes You Successful:You are warm, organized, and genuinely enjoy helping children and families.
