Catalyst Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and networking industry, is seeking a Catalyst Engineer to join their team. As a Catalyst Engineer, you will be part of the Customer Experience (CX) support team, focusing on enterprise networking solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Catalyst Engineer Location: Austin, TX (No exceptions) What's the Job? Install, integrate, and customize Cisco Software products focusing on cloud and networking automation. Lead on-site and remote customer engagements for proof of concepts, pilots, and production deployments. Collaborate with internal teams and customers to design and deliver end-to-end network solutions. Identify opportunities for network optimization and automation to enhance customer outcomes. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for complex enterprise network environments. What's Needed? 10+ years of experience in customer-centric network solution design and service delivery. Expertise in Cisco Catalyst Switching, Catalyst Center, Enterprise Routing & Switching, and automation tools like Python and Ansible. CCIE certification or equivalent advanced certifications highly preferred. Strong knowledge of enterprise networking protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, and VRF. Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the ability to influence and guide customer decisions. What's in it for me?
