About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week travel assignment . The ideal candidate will have recent Emergency Department experience, strong critical care skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and emergency interventions.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency treatments.
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR.
• Follow all hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based emergency nursing practices.
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience .
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Current AHA Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• NIHSS Certification required.
• Cerner EMR experience required.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
