AI Chip Design Engineer - New College Grad 2026

NVIDIA's HW team is seeking highly motivated engineers to help develop and integrate AI capabilities into verification tasks. You will enhance verification flows, build AI agents for productivity, and maintain core infrastructure for production use. What will you be doing: Play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of high‑performance agent frameworks and tools. Develop AI agents that can process large codebases and detect failures to aid coding and debugging tasks. Collaborate with HW engineering teams to understand their needs and ensure the agent platform is well‑suited to those challenges. Develop and optimize retrieval and generation algorithms for enterprise data (text, code, images) to build advanced AI applications. Engage with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI to create state‑of‑the‑art solutions. Integrate AI‑driven optimizations into existing tools and flows. Lead with purpose and maintain high‑quality engineering practices that inspire others to achieve excellence. What we are looking for: BS or MS or equivalent experience in CS/CE/EE/Mathematics. Strong proficiency in agentic LLM libraries/technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, RAGs, vector databases, prompt engineering, knowledge graphs, etc. Solid understanding of GPU/CPU architectures and designs. Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems. Knowledge of HW verification methodologies and techniques. Hands‑on experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog HDLs, temporal logic assertions, and the ability to understand complex RTL quickly. Excellent command of scripting using Python. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with members of a distributed team. Salary and benefits: The base salary range is 100,000USD – 166,750USD for Level1, and 116,000USD – 189,750USD for Level2. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
