We provide quality resources in four specialty areas: Information Technology (IT), Clinical Research, Rehabilitation Therapy and Nursing.Job DescriptionPosition Details:Client Direct ClientLocation Lexington, MAJob Title Senior Operations AssociateDuration 10+ MonthsResponsible for the onboarding, post-purchase through placing into service, of all newly acquired instrument systems in the Technical Development Department in Cambridge, MA. To be successful, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with scientists, to manage tasks and work orders with service organizations and vendors, and to develop and maintain documentation. The candidate must be comfortable working without fully defined processes and should be flexible and resourceful to ensure tasks are completed. This candidate should be independent and a strong self-motivator; the candidate should feel comfortable taking initiative to ensure tasks are completed.Examples of responsibilities and tasks include:Arranging planning meetings between scientists, lab services, IT support, EHS, and Project EngineeringBuilding and maintaining onboarding plans for multiple instrument systemsHosting vendors to complete installation activitiesBuilding, maintaining, and assigning preventive maintenance job plans using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Holding parties accountable to responsibilities outlined in onboarding plansLearning about new technologies and understanding facilities and IT requirements for instrumentsQualifications:Direct experience managing equipment or software life cycle activitiesDirect experience purchasing/installing instrumentation in a biotechnology/pharmaceutical companyDemonstrated skillset around laboratory management, e.g. laboratory manager roleDirect experience gathering system requirements for laboratory hardware and softwareExcellent communication skills, ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiencesExtreme attention to detail while still understanding the big pictureSuperior organizational skillsAbility to work under minimal direction; able to navigate company hierarchy to find answersPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in a scientific capacity in a biotechnology/pharmaceutical laboratoryExperience working in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), e.g. Infor (EAM), OracleExperience managing people or projectsExperience writing operation and maintenance standard operating proceduresEducation Bachelor's in a scientific discipline with 5-8 years industry experienceAdditional InformationIf interested Please call Amrit Singh Clinical Recruiter Integrated Resources, Inc IT REHAB CLINICAL NURSING Tel: View phone number on click.appcast.io Fax: View phone number on click.appcast.io
