Machinist - Weiler - 1st Shift
Location: NW Houston, TX
Pay: $26-$30/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Lofton Staffing is seeking an experienced Weiler Machinist for a well-established company in the NW Houston area. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist who values precision work, consistent hours, and competitive pay, with the potential for long-term stability.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual Weiler machines to produce parts to exact specifications
• Cut and inspect threads, including rotary connections such as IF threads
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Machine components to close tolerances with a high degree of accuracy
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure proper operation
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of machinist experience with manual machines (required)
• Experience with threading and rotary connections (IF threads preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong understanding of machining to tight tolerances
• Must have own tools and toolbox
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
