OverviewLeads initiation, planning, execution, and closure of projects delivering new capabilities in the SOCOM Information Environment (SIE). Monitors and reports project performance, budget, and schedule for HQ, Component, TSOC, and/or deployed-force efforts.Essential dutiesLead complex SIE projects from initiation through transition to operationsMonitor, adjust, and report performance, budget, and scheduleAlign project execution to USSOCOM HQ / Component / TSOC prioritiesApply and improve project management best practicesCoordinate multi-discipline stakeholders; support IPRs and status reportingMentor mid-level Project Managers as assignedEducationRequired: Bachelor's degree Substitution: Relevant experience performing SOW §§3.1 and 3.4 functions for a Government agency in lieu of formal educationYears of experience (recommended)8–12+ years IT/project management in DoD environments 3+ years leading projects of similar size/complexity to SIE capability deliverySkills & knowledgeFull project lifecycle (initiation → closure → ops transition)Schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholder managementUSSOCOM / SOF IT environment familiarity preferredBriefing and documentation for senior Government customersMS Project / Project Online or equivalent; SharePointCertificationsRequired: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)Security & other requirementsActive TOP SECRET; TS/SCI preferred On-site; travel as approvedThis position is contingent upon contract award.
