Welder Assembler Location: Chestertown, MD 21620 Work Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday Pay Range: $17 to $18 per hour

The Dixon Group is seeking a detail-oriented Welder Assembler to join our production team in Chestertown, MD! In this role, you'll contribute directly to the manufacturing of high-quality products by performing welding preparation, assembling mechanical components, and conducting product testing. What You'll Do:

• Prepare parts for welding through sanding, sandblasting, and pipe polishing
• Assemble and test a variety of products, including:
• Test pumps
• Air tank manifolds
• Swivel joints
• Loading arms (as needed)
• Follow shop orders, engineering drawings, and production prints to ensure accurate assembly
• Assist with wooden crate construction for shipment of completed parts
• Support other production areas and special projects as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous assembly or production experience is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work
• Familiarity with basic hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and follow shop orders and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to maintain an orderly workspace
