Position Summary The Family Support Specialist is responsible for providing families with a wide array of services to equip and supply family members with the necessary tools to successfully prevent out of home placement or reunification services. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, marriage and family therapy or related human service field or a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related human service field. Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church. Must be able to pass standard background checks, including drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry.
