Field Coordinator (Baseball) - All-Ripken GamesUnrivaled Sports is seeking experienced baseball and softball professionals to serve as Field Coordinators for the All-Ripken Games. Field Coordinators play a critical leadership role in executing high-level tournament operations, maintaining game flow, supporting coaches and athletes, and ensuring a safe, professional, and development-focused environment. This position is ideal for individuals with strong on-field leadership experience and a passion for athlete development and event operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily field setup, readiness, and breakdown for games and practicesEnsure fields are properly stocked with game balls and essential equipmentMaintain clean, organized, and professional field environments aligned with All-Ripken standardsReset fields efficiently between games to ensure consistent presentation and on-time startsManage team movement on and off fields to keep games on scheduleCommunicate inning limits, time limits, run rules, and schedule updates to coaches and umpiresEnsure tournament rules, roster guidelines, and safety protocols are consistently followedServe as the first point of contact for on-field issues and escalate when necessaryServe as the primary on-field liaison for assigned teams and coachesAssist with pre-game warm-ups, first-base coaching support, and general game management when neededAnswer rules-related questions and provide clarification to prevent disputesHold coaches accountable to teaching, instructing, and coaching the game appropriatelyProvide player instruction or guidance when appropriate to support developmentEnsure player safety standards and sportsmanship expectations are upheld at all timesSupport or oversee skills workouts, data capture, and team practice sessions as assignedEnsure accurate execution of drills, measurements, and player flowTrack attendance and document no-shows when applicableTrack and manage on-field equipment (game balls, demo bats, training tools, etc.)Support ball-return processes to minimize loss and maintain inventory throughout the eventRepresent Unrivaled Sports and the All-Ripken brand with a high level of professionalism and energyCreate a positive experience for athletes and families by being approachable, knowledgeable, and solution-orientedCollaborate closely with umpires, coaches, operations staff, and event leadership to ensure smooth executionQualificationsRequired:One or more of the following: High School Head Coaching experience, College coaching experience, College or professional playing experienceStrong working knowledge of baseball/softball rules, game management, and player safety standardsProven leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple teams, games, and priorities in a fast-paced environmentProfessional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with coaches, umpires, staff, and familiesPreferred:Prior experience with tournaments, showcases, or all-star style eventsExperience supervising staff or coordinating on-field operationsBackground in athlete development, evaluation, or performance trainingTime Commitment:Event-based / seasonal positionRequires availability for multi-day events, including early mornings, evenings, and weekendsDiversity, Equity & InclusionUnrivaled Sports is committed to building an inclusive environment where individuals from all backgrounds feel welcomed, respected, and valued.
