Assistant Professor-Audio and Speech Pathology (Knoxville)

The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology in Knoxville TN seeks candidates for a full-time 9-month tenure track Open Rank Professor. This position will involve 60% teaching 30% research and 10% service.

Responsibilities include teaching supervising student research conducting research in an area of interest and service. Applicants with expertise in any area of Audiology or Hearing Science will be considered.

EDUCATION:Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Audiology Hearing Science or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:Strong record of scholarship commensurate with academic level in peer-reviewed journals and at professional meetings. Desire to work in a dynamic and collegial academic environment.

DEPARTMENTAL PREFERENCES:

• Teaching experience in Audiology or Hearing Science courses.

• Experience seeking extramural funding to support a research program.

• Experience mentoring student research.
