Boarding Attendant

Can you imagine spending your working day surrounded by dogs and cats? At VCA South Shore (Weymouth), that’s a reality. We are a 24‑hour general practice, emergency, specialty veterinary hospital that also offers boarding and we are looking for pet lovers to join our team. Responsibilities Provide daily care and monitoring of pets in the clinic and boarding areas. Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of animal care areas. Support animal mental stimulation and enrichment activities. Interact with clients to provide service and answer basic questions. Multi‑task and pay attention to detail while handling multiple animals. Qualifications Previous professional dog experience preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Pet‑lover with enthusiasm and energy. Strong multi‑tasking skills and attention to detail. Shift & Compensation Full‑time or part‑time. Pay ranges from $17.25 to $18.25 per hour, dependent on experience. Generous shift differentials apply for specific shifts. Schedule: 6‑, 8‑, or 10‑hour shifts available, including some holidays and weekend hours required. Night shifts are available.
