Job Title: Technical Writer Location: San Diego, CA/ Kirkland, WA Duration: 12 Months Work Type: Hybrid Job Overview: An experienced Technical Writer is needed to remove outdated images from DITA content. The ideal candidate has experience working with images in DITA XML and has used Git in the past. Experience with Oxygen is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Review and update DITA XML content by removing outdated images Work within structured authoring environments to maintain content accuracy and consistency Utilize Git for version control and content management Collaborate with the team to ensure documentation meets quality standards Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable): Technical writing and editing experience Experience using DITA and Git (or, if no DITA experience, experience with structured authoring such as HTML) Nice-to-Have / Trainable Skills: Experience with Oxygen XML Editor
