Registered Nurse - Trauma Center - Full Time

Job Summary The Registered Nurse provides age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care, maintains a safe environment, educates patients and their families about healthy practices and treatment modalities, assures continuity of care, coordinates care across settings and among caregivers, manages information, communicates effectively, and utilizes technology. Utilizes the nursing process to provide and plan care (i.e. assessment, nurse diagnosis, planning and coordination, implementation, and evaluation). Additional roles include advocacy, performance improvement, leadership, problem solving, delegation, conflict resolution, and teamwork. Requirements Associate's degree in nursing required (BSN preferred) Active & Clear Georgia nursing license or Multistate nursing license Strong clinical assessment and triage skills Experience managing high-acuity, fast-paced environments Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and service excellence 2 years of Emergency / Trauma nursing experience American Heart Association (ACLS, BLS, PALS) certification TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) Core Competencies Patient-Centered Care - Demonstrates a commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality care that prioritizes the well‑being and satisfaction of patients and their families.
