5+ years of experience in testing (automation) 2+ years of experience as lead/SME (not a people leader, but a test lead) Understand how to handle test release management. Strong experience in test planning and execution. Manage test assignment and delivery timelines. Understand process of ticket creation and test suite creation. Experience using JIRA for ticketing and Octane for test case management Day to Day: This team is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team and support their Deployment and Development environment. They are responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. This person is involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. The Quality Assurance Test Lead works on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments and on multiple programs/systems as a test lead. The Quality Assurance Test Lead is responsible for leading onshore and offshore people. This person is considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system. He/she has the ability to lead a team through effective delegation, training, and motivation. The Quality Assurance Test Lead has the ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in fast paced environment Proficient in using HP Test Suite or other Testing Tools. Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners. Coordinate with external teams/resolving issues Team is mostly offshore testers. Some work offshore and onshore. Still working normal hours but interfacing with the offshore team.
