Part time Phlebotomist- Windmere

Job Overview Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. The position requires 25 hours weekly, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., with rotating weekends. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic purposes. Enter patient information accurately and promptly in the data system. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Complete other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or six months or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, must possess a phlebotomy certification or have completed a training program from an accredited agency. Must be able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Must be flexible to work overtime as needed. Must demonstrate exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team. Must be comfortable working under minimal supervision. Must have reliable transportation. Part‑time and seasonal employees (PSTs) may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which provides a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
