Mid - Senior ORAT Specialist (Operational Readiness, Activation & Transition) --All US Regions

Operational Readiness, Activation & Transition (ORAT) Specialist As an ORAT Specialist, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of operational readiness activities across aviation, transit, and other facility development projects. You may travel up to 75% of the time across the United States with a preferred location in Fort Myers, Florida . Responsibilities Participate in and support planning, ramp‑up, and execution of Aviation, Transit and Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition programs. Assist with the development of Stakeholder Engagement and Operational Interface Plans. Assist with the coordination and development of Familiarization, Induction and Training Plans. Assist with collection of information for ORAT schedule development. Assist with the implementation of Transition Plans. Assist with process mapping and trial development and execution. Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders to ensure engagement in the ORAT program. Develop and maintain ORAT SharePoint tools. Assist with management of ORAT programs using reporting tools such as SharePoint, Risk Registers, Issue Logs, Dashboards, PowerBi, Primavera, and Microsoft Office. Present regular update reports and executive PowerPoints on ORAT activities. Review project schedules, testing and close‑out plans to develop detailed turnover plans, including duties and responsibilities of all parties. Attend regularly scheduled project meetings. Effectively manage workflow processes to ensure timely completion. Assist with project closeouts and transition to service. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Planning, Business, or 6+ years of industry experience in aviation, transit, change management, systems testing & integration, rail/ facility startup, or regulatory compliance. Experience on operational readiness teams for new facilities. Knowledge of industry practices for systems and operations, traction power systems, signal systems, operations and maintenance (O/M), facility systems, activation planning, testing and commissioning, systems integration testing. Risk and project management skills. Technical skills in project management, transit operations, documentation, communications, or operational/testing. Schedule review and impact mitigation. Track progress across all projects and mitigate conflicts. Training coordination and tracking across multiple active projects. Quality Assurance – punchlist & closeout, field inspection, effective stakeholder management. Hardware/software skills: Word, Excel, PowerBi, SharePoint, Outlook, Office 365. Benefits Salary range: $98,900.00 to $186,850.00 (determined by location and experience).
